  Some points here for the experience, but...what a great spot. We finished our castle tours and needed a place to relax on a rainy day, and this was perfect. It was mid afternoon, so definitely outside of any real meal rush, and we were seated right away. Great service, nice warm atmosphere, just a solid experience.
  
  Food was also very good - check out that pic, the gulasch with pink peppercorn and buttered spaetzle...hold me back. Very tender meat with rich gravy, and nice little side touches, like the cranberry sauce and the peppercorns made it a little better than just a good beef stew. That plate was clean when I gave it back to them. Others managed to scratch their itch for sauerbraten and of course, beer to go around. We spent a couple hours here...again, just a really nice relaxing time. If you need food post Neuschwanstein, this is very close and very tasty, I'd highly recommend.

  A Bavarian Wirtshaus with nice decor and decent food. Most things on the menu are typical Bavarian or Schwabian.
  
  Service is good and the food is well prepared and served quick. The interior of this place is very nice and cost.
  
  My zwiebelrostbraten was quite tasty and filling with a nice steak cooked well. All the other dishes on our table were also nice and tasty.
  
  Happily come here again for another meal. It's good value for money and decent food.

  This place was good, but when we went there, there were only three tables seated, and it was the slowest service in Bavaria. The food was good, and they have a good wine selection here. There were no menus in English if that is something you need.

  We stopped in here after a great day visiting the castles.  It was a bit of an accident that we found the place, but boy were we pleasantly surprised by this wonderful restaurant!  The waiter was awesome -- charming, kind, funny, patient, as we navigated through trying new things while deciphering what they were, for a group of 7 foreigners.  He encouraged us to try certain dishes, he patiently interpreted our broken German, taught us some more German (he was fluent in English, we were just trying to use German), gave great recommendations for beers/wines.  The food was absolutely delicious.  We had an excellent experience here.

  This place was great, so good in fact that it was insanely busy when we visited. Luckily they had seating outside, where it was less busy and a bit more romantic.
  
  The food was delicious Bavarian food served at a fair price. We where very lucky to stumble across this place on our way back from the romantic roads. Would definitely recommend this to anyone, and we will come back next time we are in town.
